Brian Austin Green reveals he found out about estranged wife Megan Fox’s relationship with Machine Gun Kelly his ‘own way’

Brian Austin Green says he found out about his estranged wife’s new relationship on his own.

Appearing on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, the actor, 47, got candid about his life after splitting from Megan Fox, 34 — who is now dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 30. Green admitted on the podcast that he found out about their relationship by himself.

“I found out in my own way. And that’s as much detail as I’ll give you on that one. I didn’t read about it or anything like that,” he said.

Green also revealed how he’s handling Fox’s new relationship and the reports of the couple’s romance: “You can if you ignore it and avoid it which is what I try and do. I try to no read anything or look at anything and not involve myself in it. Just keep my head down and do what I do and focus on the kids. I know she’s going to do the same thing.”

“Everybody is judgemental right now that she’s out of the country working and she’s not around,” he said of Fox, who’s finishing up filming her movie with the rapper. “We travel and we work. It’s no different than before, we’re just no longer together. This is what we’ve been doing for 15 years. When one person is travelling and working the other person will step in and take care of things at home and the kids and this situation is no different. It’s not for lack of caring. Megan loves her kids, would do anything for them, and has and will continue to.”

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star went on to add that their co-parenting is going “as well as it can.”

“There’s no rule book to it,” he explained. “There’s no way of doing it right or doing it wrong. We’re learning as we go. The important thing for us is just communicating as much as we can.

“I think the rule most people follow is you don’t want to introduce someone to your kids as somebody you’re interested in or that you have a relationship with until it’s a very established relationship and something that you’re taking very seriously, because you don’t want people coming in and out of kid’s lives. It has to be done in a responsible way. We’ve talked about being as responsible as we can with the kids. We want to make this a positive experience as possible.”

Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby reveals how she and Aussie husband survived ‘torrential times’ to become stronger than ever

If you’ve never heard of Potomac, then let us paint a picture for you.

The exclusive suburb in Maryland sits just outside Washington D.C. in the United States and is considered one of the most affluent African-American communities in the country.

It’s so exclusive that not much is known about the area… that is until The Real Housewives of Potomac premiered in 2016 and put it on the map. And you better believe the show makes the drama 22km away in Capitol Hill pale in comparison.

RHOP star Ashley Darby has appeared on the show since day one. Over the last four seasons, the 32-year-old has suffered highs, lows and everything in between — the search for her biological father turned into heartbreak; her co-star Candiace Dillard threatened her with a butter knife during a heated conversation; she and Aussie husband Michael Darby, 61, suffered a devastating miscarriage; the couple’s Aussie-themed restaurant, Oz, shut down; and, most recently, her marriage was tested when Michael had to fight and was eventually cleared of sexual misconduct claims.

See? US congress ain’t got nothing on RHOP.

“I shouldn’t be on this platform if I’m not willing to be open,” Ashley tells 9Honey Celebrity on why she allows cameras to film her most intimate moments. “When I signed on, I had an idea of what it would be and even though I’ve learnt a lot on the journey, the underlying thing is I’m true to myself.

“What a lot of people don’t realise, in the franchise and in general, is your true colours will always come out. So it’s just better to be ahead of it and let that freak flag fly.”

Ashley and her co-stars, Candiace, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels, kick off Season 5 on August 3 and it promises to be just as explosive as the last. And just when Ashley and Michael get their six-year marriage back on track, along comes a curveball.

In the trailer for the new season, the couple’s marriage appears to be tested once again with accusations that Melbourne-born Michael was in a hotel room “with several strippers”. Just last season, Michael was accused of sexual misconduct when a cameraman claimed the former restaurateur groped his bottom during filming. The Aussie star denied any wrongdoing and the case was ultimately dropped.

“Having lived it and experienced it, it was a very torrential time — there is a downpour of all sorts of things,” Ashley says, when asked about the past and present accusations. “But I will say my husband is a really strong person, I’m a really strong person, and just because someone tries to knock us down, doesn’t mean they are going to succeed. So that’s not to say we’re not going to keep coming back. We’re the Darbys and we’re here to stay.”

The other major talking point this season is the on-camera physical altercation between Monique, 36, and Candiace, 33. The ladies shocked their co-stars when they came to blows at a dinner party, with Candiace quickly filing assault charges and Monique counter-filing with claims of self-defense. Both cases have since been dismissed by the Maryland state attorney’s office.

“Whatever happened with Monique making this mistake and what it was, that to me is not a whole demonstration of her character. And, quite frankly, I support her and I have her back in all this,” says Ashley. “She’s really strong lady, and she’s going to pull through just fine. And if she needs me, she knows I’m always here.”

One person Ashley won’t be rolling out the red carpet for is newcomer Dr Wendy Osefo, who is shown sharing a heated exchange with the star in the trailer.

“Wendy needs to earn her stripes in some way,” says Ashley. “She just felt the need to come for me, but I think Wendy learnt very quickly that I’m not going to back down. And if it’s a scratch she’s looking for, it’s a scratch she’s going to get.

“When I first came into the group, a lot of the women were a little judgemental and they didn’t quite understand me. It wasn’t necessarily that I was argumentative, but I was just defending who I am when everyone had a really strong opinion about me. And that’s where Wendy and I were a little bit different.”

For now, Ashley is focusing on her first child with Michael, a baby boy they named Dean Michael. The tiny tot just turned one last month but already he’s proving to be a pro with the Aussie lingo.

“It’s important to me for him to understand everything about his culture. He’s going to know the Black side of his culture, he’s going to know the Australian side,” says the new mum.

“Dean is going to be a very interesting young man because he’s going to have a lot of sayings. One of the things Michael’s working on is already teaching him some Australian sayings. So he’s gonna have those down pat by the time he’s two.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 premieres August 3 on hayu.

Wippa’s wife not impressed after radio host compares her to Michael Jackson: ‘He’s alive!’

Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli is in trouble with wife Lisa after he compared her to Michael Jackson on Instagram.

This morning, Wippa revealed on his Nova breakfast show, Fitzy & Wippa, that Lisa was not happy after he not only posted a photo without her approval, but also likened her appearance in said photo to the late King of Pop.

“When I took this photo with Lisa, we were out for lunch, she was sitting with the kids over on the jetty,” Wippa said of their recent outing in Rose Bay, Sydney. “I looked at it and I thought, ‘Oh my God. If I zoom in a little bit… that’s Michael Jackson!’ She looks so much like Michael Jackson. It’s extraordinary!”

So the 40-year-old radio host thought he’d share his findings with his 55K Instagram followers, announcing on the app, “He’s alive! Michael Jackson spotted in Rose Bay, Sydney Australia. #keepitinthecloset.”

Needless to say, Lisa — the mother of Wippa’s three kids, Ted, five, Jack, four, and Francesca — was horrified.

“It was just when I posted it yesterday afternoon, she was upstairs trying to settle Francesca and then I hear a head poking out the door. ‘Michael!!!’ I thought, ‘Got her a beauty, I reckon I know why she’s yelling!'” he recalled on air with co-host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.

“I’ve had 100 messages of people saying, ‘You’re dead! You’re getting a divorce!’ One bloke wrote, ‘There’s only 10 people at your funeral, sorry mate, put your list together now!'”

“Normally I would’ve had to get it approved. ‘Show me the photo, show me the photo before you post it!'” he mimicked his wife. “I thought, I’m never gonna get that past the gate! I had to go for forgiveness over approval, because I was never going to get approval.”

The stuff-up may not be grounds for divorce, as many followers suspected, but Wippa has joked about having to “move out” temporarily.

“I was wondering if I could come and stay at your place?” he asked Fitzy, who quipped, “You can stay at Neverland, mate!”

Ellen DeGeneres’ wife Portia de Rossi speaks out amid show scandal and thanks fans for their support

Portia de Rossi is showing support for her wife Ellen DeGeneres as controversy surrounds the comedian’s daytime talk show.

On Monday, August 3, de Rossi, 47, expressed her support for DeGeneres on Instagram: “To all our fans… we see you. Thank you for your support.”

The Australian actress concluded her post with the hashtags #stopbotattacks, #IStandWithEllenDeGeneres, #IStandByEllen, #IstandByEllenDeGeneres ‬and #bekindtooneanother, the phrase DeGeneres uses to close out her show.

De Rossi’s post comes one week after WarnerMedia launched an internal investigation into the talk show after accusations of a toxic work environment.

On Thursday, DeGeneres, 62, addressed the accusations in a lengthy apology to her employees.

“My name is on the show and everything we do and I take responsibility for that,” she wrote. “Alongside Warner Bros, we immediately began an internal investigation and we are taking steps, together, to correct the issues. As we’ve grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done. Clearly some didn’t. That will now change and I’m committed to ensuring this does not happen again.

“We all have to be more mindful about the way our words and actions affect others, and I’m glad the issues at our show were brought to my attention. I promise to do my part in continuing to push myself and everyone around me to learn and grow. It’s important to me and to Warner Bros. that everyone who has something to say can speak up and feels safe doing so.”

Ellen’s executive producers Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner and Ed Glavin also said in a previous statement that they take full responsibility for daily operations on the show.

“We are truly heartbroken and sorry to learn that even one person in our production family has had a negative experience. It’s not who we are and not who we strive to be, and not the mission Ellen has set for us,” the group said.

“For the record, the day to day responsibility of the Ellen show is completely on us. We take all of this very seriously and we realise, as many in the world are learning, that we need to do better, are committed to do better, and we will do better.”

Val Kilmer admits he struggles to communicate after undergoing tracheotomy due to throat cancer

Val Kilmer has opened up about his health as he prepares to make his big screen comeback.

Speaking to Good Morning America on August 3, the actor said he was feeling better after undergoing a tracheotomy following his throat cancer diagnosis in 2015.

“I’m doing great,” the 60-year-old said. “I feel a lot better than I sound.”

Kilmer is feeling so much better that he’s ready to work and has four projects in the pipeline, including the highly-anticipated Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, which will be released in 2021.

But this week in the US, the actor will make his big-screen return in the action film, Paydirt, opposite his daughter, Mercedes.

And while he enjoyed being on set with the 28-year-old, controlling his voice was a challenge.

“It’s just like any other language or dialect,” he told GMA. “You have to figure out a way to communicate that’s no different than any other acting challenge but it’s just a very unique set of circumstances.”

It was back in 2015 — the same year he signed on for the Top Gun sequel — that Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer.

He initially denied the reports, but later confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter in a 2017 interview that he underwent two years of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and also had surgery on his trachea which left him with a rasp in his voice.

But it wasn’t until this last year that he’s been completely open about his health battle.

“I was diagnosed with throat cancer which healed very quickly. This is a tracheotomy to help me breathe because my glands in my throat swelled up as well,” he told ET in April.

When asked what he missed about his old voice, Kilmer replied, “That I had one! And that I didn’t laugh like a pirate.”

Tom Pollock, former Universal Pictures chairman, dies at 77

Tom Pollock, the former chairman of Universal Pictures and the American Film Institute, died Saturday of natural causes at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 77.

“We are incredibly saddened by the loss of Tom Pollock,” said NBCUniversal vice chairman Ron Meyer in a statement. “He played a critical role in securing our studio’s legacy, and was an extraordinary executive, influential attorney, and a dear friend to so many of us. We will forever feel his impact on our company and within our industry. On behalf of everyone at Universal, we send our deepest condolences to his family and honour his extraordinary accomplishments.”

Pollock, a Los Angeles native, received a law degree from Columbia University and began his career in the entertainment business by working for George Stevens, founding director of the AFI, in 1968. He became manager of business affairs for AFI’s new film school, the Centre for Advanced Film Studies.

In 1970, he started the entertainment law firm Pollock, Rigrod, and Bloom, where Star Wars creator George Lucas was among his first clients. Pollock gained recognition by negotiating the deal that secured Lucas the merchandising and sequel rights to Star Wars. He was also involved in the negotiations for the Indiana Jones and Superman franchises for the firm, which had become Pollock, Bloom and Dekom.

Pollock left his firm in 1986 and became executive vice president of MCA Inc. and chairman of its Motion Picture Group, Universal Pictures. He oversaw Jurassic Park, the Back to the Future trilogy, Do the Right Thing, Fried Green Tomatoes, Cape Fear, Parenthood, Kindergarten Cop, Oscar best picture winner Schindler’s List, Field of Dreams, Born on the Fourth of July, Apollo 13 and Babe.

Pollock resigned from this position in 1996 and taught in the film studies program at the University of California Santa Barbara. He became AFI’s chairman of the board in 1996 and remained involved for the rest of his life. AFI debuted its AFI Awards during his tenure.

Bob Gazzale, president and CEO of AFI, said, “Tom Pollock loved movies — powerfully and passionately. His legacy will show how he devoted his unmatched legal mind to championing great stories, and lucky for all movie lovers, he believed that those stories could both challenge and entertain. We have lost a fierce advocate for the art form, but at AFI his spirit will live on.”

In 1998, Pollock teamed with Ivan Reitman to form The Montecito Picture Company, which has gone on to produce Old School, Disturbia, Up in the Air, I Love You, Man, Hitchcock, Draft Day, and Baywatch.

He is survived by his mother, Helene Pollock; his sister, Margo Sinclair (Pollock), and brother, Ken Pollock; his children Alexandra Gagerman (Pollock), Allegra Brandano (Pollock), and Luke Pollock; his four grandchildren, Haley, Benjamin, Amelia, and Owen. Funeral services are pending.

Frank Ocean’s 18-year-old brother Ryan Breaux reportedly killed in car accident

Singer Frank Ocean’s younger brother Ryan Breaux has reportedly died in a car crash, aged 18.

The accident killed two people on August 2 (US time) at 1.30am in Thousand Oaks, California, ABC News 7 reported.

Initial investigations revealed the car collided with a tree, and was engulfed by flames when police found it. However, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.

It’s possible that speed also played a part in the crash.

“The speed limit is north of 45 mph (approx. 72km/h),” Deputy Wendell Campbell told KTLA. “It’s a nice big stretch of road, so sometimes people do pick up speed.”

Both of the occupants were pronounced dead at the scene by the Ventura County Fire Department.

The other passenger was reportedly Ryan’s friend, Zeek.

Breaux last tweeted yesterday: “only doing entanglements in 2020.”

Ocean hasn’t yet publicly commented on his brother’s death, but several of Breaux’s close friends have acknowledged the sad news on social media.

“You gave us all love and laughter brother,” Brandon Thomas Lee wrote. “Love you forever. I hope I get to see you again one day.”

An Instagram follower commented, “I don’t even know what to say. Ryan u were one of the most incredible people I have ever known u gave me everything I could’ve ever wanted and I’m so grateful for all the memories we shared. I will love you always and forever”.

Ocean is best known for his songs ‘Thinking Bout You’ and ‘Pyramids’ off his debut studio album Channel Orange in 2012. It was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, his hit track ‘Thinking Bout You’ scored an award for Record of the Year.

Terry Crews speaks out after Gabrielle Union slams him for not supporting her during America’s Got Talent battle

Terry Crews says he will “continue to apologise” to Gabrielle Union.

The actor issued his “third public apology” to Union on Saturday after she again called him out last week, claiming the America’s Got Talent host failed to support her in her battles against the show and NBC.

“This will be my 3rd public apology to Gabrielle Union,” Crews tweeted. “If a 4th is needed, I will continue to apologise and push for reconciliation between the world, and more importantly, the culture I grew up in.”

Last week, Union was asked about Crews and his recent statements on the Black Lives Matter movement.

“People hit me all day long and are like, what’s happening? And the only thing I know for sure is that Terry Crews gets three checks from NBC,” she said on Jemele Hill Is Unbothered Spotify podcast. “So, I don’t know if being worried about job stability — which listen, we all know that if you speak up about racism and white supremacy, you absolutely can be shown the door. I don’t know if that’s the motivation.”

Union also said Crews’ recent actions have shown that he was not on her side while on the show.

“Based on his recent actions, do you really think Terry Crews was an ally, was helpful, was a sounding board? I think Terry Crews is showing us who he is and what he does during times of adversity and it’s not solidarity,” Union said

NBC’s investigation concluded that Union was not the victim of discrimination.

“At the end of the day, the work that I am doing to make sure that NBC is a more fair and equitable place of employment will benefit you [Crews] as well,” she said. “So it’s OK to eat your cereal and let me do my thing and get out of the way. If you’re not going to help, then get out of the way. If you don’t feel financially comfortable, or spiritually comfortable or you flat out disagree, but at the end of the day he will benefit from a safer, more equitable workplace from what I stuck my neck out to do and got fired for, you know? Instead of actively working against progress.”

Last month, Crews said that Black Lives Matter may be changing its focus, urging people to remember that they are all “children of God.”

“If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology,” Crews tweeted. “We must ensure [Black Lives Matter] doesn’t morph into [Black Lives Better.]”

Fans of Naya Rivera hold emotional vigil at Lake Piru where she drowned

Fans of Naya Rivera have gathered to pay their respects to the late actress.

On Saturday, August 1, a group of fans travelled to host a vigil at Lake Piru in California — where the Glee star’s body was found on July 13, five days after she disappeared.

The vigil was organised by the online fan page Naya’s Army and was attended by mourners who came from California, Oregon and Indiana, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Photos and videos from the vigil show white balloons, floral displays and works of art honouring Rivera.

The memorial took place almost three weeks after a number of Glee cast members, including Heather Morris, came together at the lake to pay their respects and sing. Rivera, 33, was confirmed dead after her body was found that same day.

Rivera was reported missing on July 8 after swimming in Lake Piru in Southern California with her four-year-old son, Josey. According to police, the pair had rented a pontoon boat and, after their swim in the lake, Rivera helped Josey back on board. It’s believed she then drowned. After almost a week of searching, a search team found her body on July 13 — on the anniversary of her Glee co-star Cory Monteith‘s death.

The star was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles on July 24.

WWE Twins Brie and Nikki Bella deliver baby boys one day apart

WWE superstars and twin sisters Brie and Nikki Bella have both welcomed two baby boys just one day apart.

Brie Bella and husband Daniel Bryan welcomed their second child on Saturday, August 1. Announcing the news via Instagram, Brie, 36, captioned her post, “It’s a BOY!!! 💙 8-1-2020. We are overwhelmed with joy and everyone is healthy!!!”

The couple, who tied the knot in April 2014, are also parents to three-year-old daughter Birdie Joe.

Shortly after Brie’s announcement, her twin sister Nikki Bella revealed she’s also given birth to her first child, a son, with fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, 38. Her baby boy was born one day before Brie’s on July 31.

“7/31/2020 💙 Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy,” the new mum announced.

The sisters are reportedly living bedside in hospital.

In January, the twins announced that they were both pregnant — and their due dates were less than two weeks apart.

“I can’t believe I’m going to be a mum soon,” Nikki told People at the time. “I’m going to have this person to take care of for the rest of their life and help them do the right things and just show them the way of the world. That’s amazing!

“It’s something I’ve dreamed of my whole life.”

In June, the parents-to-be revealed the sex of their baby during the Season 5 finale of Total Bellas.

“I’m so excited that Nicole and Artem are having a boy; I knew it. It’s perfect for your personality, and I think you and your boy will have such a good bond,” Brie told her sister.

Nicole Kidman hugs mother Janelle after completing 14-day quarantine period: ‘So good to hug you!’

Nicole Kidman is thrilled to be back in Australia and in the arms of her mother, Janelle.

The Aussie actress posted two photos of the pair reunited and sharing a sweet embrace over the weekend, after Kidman completed the required 14-day coronavirus quarantine period.

“Feels so good to be able to hug my mum! It’s been 8 months. I missed her 80th birthday but I’m here now. Love you Mumma,” the 53-year-old captioned the snaps.

The reunion was a long time coming for the family. Back in July, Kidman also missed sister Antonia’s birthday, with the actress forced to send greetings from her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

“To my sister, I love you so much. Happy Birthday gorgeous,” Kidman wrote on Instagram. “Can’t wait to see you again and cover you in kisses and love.”

Kidman is back on home soil to produce and star in the new mini-series, Nine Perfect Strangers, which also stars Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans and Aussie actress Asher Keddie

The series begins filming this month in the Southern Highlands of NSW, and is about nine stressed city dwellers who arrive at a wellness resort looking to reset and recharge.

Although production is set to inject $100 million into the local film industry crippled by COVID-19, Kidman received backlash after she was reportedly allowed to fly into Australia via private jet and quarantine on her Southern Highlands property with husband Keith Urban and their two daughters, instead of 14 days at a Sydney hotel.

Meanwhile, Kidman’s co-star Evans told Variety‘s podcast The Big Ticket that he would be quarantining in a Sydney hotel room.

“We all have to be quarantined in a hotel room. I can’t see anyone for two weeks. I have to be tested every other day,” the 41-year-old Welsh actor explained. “Everything is going to be delivered to my room and I have to stay in a room in Australia and not leave it for two weeks just so that we can then be free to go and shoot something.”

Filming begins on August 10 and is scheduled to run for 19 weeks.

In a separate post, Ushkowitz reminisced on their shared “laughs, martinis and secrets”.

“There are no words and yet so many things I want to say, I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to articulate exactly what I feel,” she began.

“Naya, you were a force and everyone who got to be around you knew it and felt the light and joy you exuded when you walked into a room. You shined on stage and screen and radiated with love behind closed doors.

“I can not believe I took for granted that you’d always be here.”

Glee star Kevin McHale accidentally gave boyfriend salmonella but thought it was coronavirus

Glee alum Kevin McHale has confessed to accidentally giving his actor boyfriend salmonella poisoning.

The 32-year-old made the admission in a series of tweets on August 1, in which he wondered if Austin McKenzie would break up with him given the incident left McKenzie so sick, they thought he had coronavirus.

“But have you undercooked chicken sausage (unintentionally) and then served it to your bf and then he got superrrrr sick and you thought it was covid and you got tested twice but nah you just fed him salmonella? He should break up with me. I would,” McHale told his 1.3 million followers.

A fan then joked that McHale had shared too much information and McKenzie, who stars in Russell Crowe‘s new movie Unhinged, should stop him from tweeting.

“He’s asleep because I poisoned him!” McHale, who portrayed Artie Abrams on Glee, playfully replied.

But McKenzie wasn’t about to let the Glee alum get away with it. When the 26-year-old was semi-recovered, he made sure to change his Twitter bio to reflect the events of the past weekend.

“I left Twitter many years ago. I’m back on now to monitor my thirsty boyfriend, Kevin Mchale, who ‘accidentally’ gave me salmonella 5 days ago,” McKenzie wrote.

The happy couple first went public with their relationship in 2018, just before McHale confirmed he was gay while chatting to entertainment reporter Marc Malkin on Facebook Live. In the interview, McHale said he never hid his sexuality — he just wasn’t “shouting it from the mountaintops”.

“If somebody was a big fan and following everything I was doing [on social media], like the people I interact with on Twitter on a daily basis, I think there was zero surprise. People knew,” he said.

“The organisations I’ve been supporting and all that sort of work has been apparent, at least to me. I’ve always supported LGBT organisations and things like that because I felt like I had a vested interest in this where I wanted to help out.”

The Kissing Booth’s Joey King and Taylor Zakhar Perez spark dating rumours with vacation snaps

The Kissing Booth’s Joey King has raised questions about her relationship status with co-star Taylor Zakhar Perez after taking a trip with the actor.

King recently turned 21 and celebrated the occasion with Perez, 28, who then posted some snaps of them swimming in a waterfall.

“Recalculating route. Disclaimer, we all tested negative,” Perez wrote, referring to their recent COVID-19 test.

On King’s birthday, Perez also shared an adorable tribute to her alongside a photograph of the pair spending time together at the beach.

“Happy Friggen Birthday @joeyking. Honestly I could write about this woman all day. She is the reason I joined the KB2 family, she welcomed me with open arms and love, she supported me, she pushed me, she made me laugh (like pee my pants laughter and had to check my underwear), she inspired me to be a better actor, she shared her family with me, THE LIST GOES ON. Grateful for you forever. #tbt”

It was also noted that when King shared a birthday snap of her posing in a bikini, Perez commented, “Holy s–t.”

Neither of them have commented publicly on the rumours surrounding the nature of their relationship. However, Perez clarified he’s “not dating anyone” in a recent interview with Glamour.

King previously dated Jacob Elordi, her on-screen boyfriend in The Kissing Booth, after meeting on set in 2017. However, by the end of 2018, it looked like the couple had gone their separate ways.

In an interview with Refinery29 in July 2019, King seemingly opened up about the split.

“All you can really do at is shut your phone off and crawl into your sister’s bed and watch Friends with her, because when you’re going through something and the world wants to go through it with you or [wants] to get every piece of detail from you about it, it’s really difficult. Some of these things are just meant for you,” she said of the apparent breakup.

Elordi is rumoured to be in a relationship with Zendaya. Meanwhile, King has also been linked to 28-year-old The Act producer Steven Piet.

Wilford Brimley, Cocoon and Natural actor, dies at 85

Wilford Brimley, who worked his way up from movie stunt rider to an indelible character actor who brought gruff charm, and sometimes menace, to a range of films that included Cocoon, The Natural and The Firm, has died. He was 85.

Brimley’s manager Lynda Bensky said the actor died Saturday morning in a Utah hospital. He was on dialysis and had several medical ailments, she said.

The moustached Brimley was a familiar face for a number of roles, often playing characters like his grizzled baseball manager in The Natural opposite Robert Redford’s bad-luck phenomenon. He also worked with Redford in Brubaker and The Electric Horseman.

Brimley’s best-known work was in Cocoon, in which he was part of a group of seniors who discover an alien pod that rejuvenates them. The 1985 Ron Howard film won two Oscars, including a supporting actor honour for Don Ameche.

Brimley also starred in Cocoon: The Return, a 1988 sequel.

For years he was pitchman for Quaker Oats and in recent years appeared in a series of diabetes spots that turned him at one point into a social media sensation.

“Wilford Brimley was a man you could trust,” Bensky said in a statement. “He said what he meant and he meant what he said. He had a tough exterior and a tender heart. I’m sad that I will no longer get to hear my friend’s wonderful stories. He was one of a kind.”

Barbara Hershey, who met Brimley on 1995′s Last of the Dogmen, called him “a wonderful man and actor. … He always made me laugh.”

Though never nominated for an Oscar or Emmy Award, Brimley amassed an impressive list of credits. In 1993’s John Grisham adaptation The Firm, Brimley starred opposite Tom Cruise as a tough-nosed investigator who deployed ruthless tactics to keep his law firm’s secrets safe.

John Woo, who directed Brimley as Uncle Douvee in 1993′s Hard Target, told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 that the part was “the main great thing from the film. I was overjoyed making those scenes and especially working with Wilford Brimley.”

A Utah native who grew up around horses, Brimley spent two decades travelling around the West and working at ranches and race tracks. He drifted into movie work during the 1960s, riding in such films as True Grit, and appearing in TV series such as Gunsmoke.

He forged a friendship with Robert Duvall, who encouraged him to seek more prominent acting roles, according to a biography prepared by Turner Classic Movies.

Brimley, who never trained as an actor, saw his career take off after he won an important role as a nuclear power plant engineer in The China Syndrome.

“Training? I’ve never been to acting classes, but I’ve had 50 years of training,” he said in a 1984 Associated Press interview. “My years as an extra were good background for learning about camera techniques and so forth. I was lucky to have had that experience; a lot of newcomers don’t.”

“Basically my method is to be honest,” Brimley said told AP. “The camera photographs the truth — not what I want it to see, but what it sees. The truth.”

Brimley had a recurring role as a blacksmith on The Waltons and the 1980s prime-time series Our House.

Another side of the actor was his love of jazz. As a vocalist, he made albums including This Time the Dream’s On Me and Wilford Brimley with the Jeff Hamilton Trio.

In 1998, he opposed an Arizona referendum to ban cockfighting, saying that he was “trying to protect a lifestyle of freedom and choice for my grandchildren.”

In recent years, Brimley’s pitchwork for Liberty Medical had turned him into an internet sensation for his drawn out pronunciation of diabetes as “diabeetus.” He owned the pronunciation in a tweet that drew hundreds of thousands of likes earlier this year.

Brimley is survived by his wife Beverly and three sons.
