Chrissy Teigen debuts new tattoo in touching tribute to John Legend’s love songs
Chrissy Teigen is showing off her new ink.
On January 12, the Cravings cookbook author, 35, debuted a new back tattoo dedicated to husband John Legend via Instagram.
“Ooooooooh la shoowap shoowap,” she captioned her post, referencing Legend’s lyrics to his song ‘Ooh Laa’.
The tattoo was done by celebrity tattoo artist Winter Stone, who also shared a photo of Teigen’s tattoo.
“What a blessing to honour Chrissy with this ooh laa tattoo down her spine!” the post was captioned. “John wrote this sexy song for her so naturally she should have it tattooed on her right?!!! And if you haven’t heard BIGGER LOVE John’s new album: listen it’s so good!”
Legend was present when Teigen got the ink, holding her hand and even singing the song to her. He also recalled the first time he played the song to her, revealing that he played it “in the bedroom,” because “we had to test-run it, make sure it worked.”
“It worked,” he added.
This isn’t the first time Teigen has visited the artist’s studio. She got her first tattoo in October 2019, featuring the names of her husband and two children: Luna and Miles. Later that year, the model added their birthdates as well as those of her parents on her other arm.
In November, one month after he pregnancy loss, Teigen inked her baby’s name, Jack, onto her right wrist — which sits just above the tattoo of her family’s names.
