Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s director says he was ‘mesmerised’ by their connection: ‘Magic in that room’

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly‘s chemistry was undeniable when they met on Midnight in the Switchgrass.

The film’s director Randall Emmett said there was “magic in the room, 100 per cent” when he filmed Fox, 35, and Kelly, 31, in the 2020 flick.

“I sat there behind the monitor, and there were takes where I was so mesmerised by their performances that I would forget to say ‘Action!'” Emmett told Yahoo! Entertainment.

“Megan sometimes had to be like, ‘Randall, are you going to call, “Action”‘? I was like, ‘Oh my God — my bad!'”

The couple met on the film set in March last year. Due to COVID-19, filming was shut down in Puerto Rico.

“It wasn’t until after we shut down and went home that the relationship began,” Randall said.

Reports Fox and Kelly started dating surfaced in May, the same month the actress announced her split from her ex-husband Brian Austin Green after 10 years of marriage.

In a cover story with Nylon, Fox opened up about her feelings upon meeting the ‘love race’ singer for the first time. “I looked into his eyes, I felt the most pristine, most gentle, most pure spirit,” she said. “My heart shattered immediately and I just knew that I was f—ed.”
