Miranda Kerr says she’s ‘grateful’ for Katy Perry and ex-husband Orlando Bloom’s relationship

Miranda Kerr has absolutely no bad blood with her ex-husband’s new partner, Katy Perry.

The Australian model appeared on Drew Barrymore‘s talk show this week and spoke about her feelings toward Orlando Bloom and his new relationship.

Bloom and Kerr were married for three years before divorcing in 2013, and share a nine-year-old son, Flynn. Kerr also has two sons with her current husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.

Bloom is now engaged to singer Katy Perry, and the pair welcomed a new baby, Daisy, just a few months ago.

“I adore Katy and I feel so happy Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother, it’s just the most important thing,” Kerr told Drew Barrymore.

She added, “I am just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other and I’m so grateful that I found my incredible husband. And just that we all really respect each other and when it comes to special occasions when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises that we work out together.

“We are like, ‘What is the best for our whole family?’ but we really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that is the most important thing at the end of the day.”

Just last month Kerr praised the ‘Roar’ singer for returning to work just after giving birth to Daisy. “Omg you’re amazing! Love you,” the model commented on Perry’s Instagram.

Kerr’s billionaire husband Spiegel has previously spoken about how much he admires teh co-parenting arrangement between his wife and Bloom.

“What I saw from Miranda and Orlando was very different from what I experienced,” Spiegel said. “I am in no way a replacement for Flynn’s dad. I feel like [I’m part of] Team Flynn.”
