Rapper apologises after brawl between Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia at Verzuz battle
The anticipated battle between Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia was stalled by a display of swipes and dices, and now one of the rappers has apologised.
The groups were in the middle of their Verzuz TV battle at the Hollywood Palladium when suddenly, things took a turn for the worse (watch in video above).
After finishing a verse, a member of Bone Thugs, Bizzy Bone, calls out members of Three 6 Mafia for “mocking him.”
Bizzy says: “Aye, before we even get started, you…ain’t gonna be mocking me while I’m on…stage. Like straight…up.”
The rapper throws a water bottle toward Three 6’s side, and instantly, things turn violent.
Three 6 Mafia storms over to Bone Thugs, and the performers begin to brawl.
Before things got too out of hand, security steps in and breaks up the two groups.
After the display, Bizzy quickly apologises, before carrying on with the show.
“I wanna apologise to everybody… out here. On both sides… Let’s keep the party… going.”
The rapper has since taken things a step further on Instagram.
In a lengthy post, Bizzy wrote: I feel as a man there is a time to apologize and be the bigger person. Even if you do not feel wrong. @melyssa_lp @triller @verzuztv thank you for everything.
He continued: “But when u a man you understand there is a time to be the bigger person. Mistakes will be made. This is Hip Hop, if we was ‘sposed to be perfect then we wouldn’t even be here…
“When I got back on stage I meant what I said…I came back because I know a lot of people depended on me. It was not scripted but it ended [perfectly]. A toast to Hip Hop. Sh– gets a lil crazy sometimes,” he said.
Tagging members of Three 6 Mafia, Bones continued: “Hopefully I gave you enough hell to know what HEAVEN can be like. You guys did a HECK of a job and embracing me after that took class as well. This is real. I am real. God bless you all.”
